She is still constantly on the hunt when I am with her in the back yard - looking for squirrel trails or chasing birds.
Stay tuned! "Rosie learns a new command" coming up next!
This blog will follow the life of a foster dog on her way to a new home! Keep up with us as we get to know her and get her ready for that wonderful family that is somewhere out there waiting for her!

Rosie finally settled down last night after a bath and some dinner. Surprisingly, she is crate trained. Spent all night in her crate without making a noise until about 6:00 this morning. Even then it was just a little whine to let us know she needed to go out. Her nose is working overtime as she explores our yard. She and our Labrador are finally warming up to each other and she even invited him to play chase with her this morning! She is also seeming to do well on the wireless petsafe system we have. The shelter had warned me that she was a bit of an escape artist - can climb/jump a six foot kennel fence. She is gingerly testing her boundaries to see how far she can go. Plans for today - Go to the vet to make sure she is healthy and get a rabies shot.
