I have posted a short video of Rosie running around our yard.
I had to take her to the vet yesterday - the vet suspects she has a bladder infection and she will be on antibiotics for 10 days and then re-checked. I am in the process of calling the families that have shown interest in adopting Rosie. I hope to have made a decision by early next week so she can go home - wherever that may be! The kids and I are trying to spend more time with her - not only knowing that she is leaving soon, but also to help her continue to learn what it means to be loved. She knows her name and comes to it and is letting us pet her - even when she is outside (though not for long). Her new family will have to be patient with her as she adapts to the life as a pet!
On another note - I was contacted about two male GSP's in Scottsboro, Alabama that need to be rescued. If anyone out there following this blog wants to help with GSP foster, then by all means Fill out an application at the GSP Rescue website and contact me so we can get you a foster dog! It has been very rewarding for my family!
